Professional orientation of children - clients of Children's home

As the topic of my bachelor thesis, I chose professional orientation of children from a children's home. Studying high school and then choosing a profession is part of everyone's life. Professional orientation shapes and develops the professional goals of a young person. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to determine the degree of motivation of children from children's homes and the influence of social workers on the professional orientation of children. The thesis consists of two units. The theoretical part describes institutional care, children's homes, professional orientation and perspective orientation. The practical part is a qualitative research survey. Based on questionnaires and interviews, I try to answer basic research questions: Are children from children's homes interested in high school? How do children choose high school? What kind of tools do social workers of the children's home use to motivate children?
Diagnostic of Time Perspective in High School Students

This disertation thesis thematize the relationship to the future in high school students' and the diagnostic possibilities of this phenomena. We will describe the philosophical and primarily the psychological conception of time. The thesis focuses on the main theoretical concepts of time perspective, the cognitive-motivational theories and their relationship with achievement motivation. The empirical part has three goals: 1. The diagnostic of time perspective, 2. The description of students'relationship to the future, 3. The investigation of relationship between time perspective and achievement motivation. The analysis of the coding system of the Motivational Induction Method lead to improving this system. There was a battery of tests (quantitative and mixed methodology) used to diagnose the time perspective of students', namely Motivational Induction Method (Nuttin), Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (Zimbardo), Achievement Motivation Questionaire (Hrabal, Pavelková) and Motivational Sources of Learning Activities (Pavelková, Hrabal). The case studies that can show positives and/or negatives of used methods and individual ways of representing the future are presented in the end of the thesis. Perspective Orientation of Girls Situated in Diagnostic Institution

v anglickém jazyce In this thesis called "Perspective Orientation of Girls Situated in Diagnostic Institution" I deal with young people with behavioral disorders. In the first part I am trying to describe the meaning of term adolescence. I tried to describe the main problems of this phase of life and show to reader spectrum or variety of risk and delinquent behavior. I shortly introduced topic of perspective orientation and described function of Diagnostic Institution. In practical part I firstly described methods of research. Partially I used printed documents for part of my research. Second and the main part is based on personal written works of clients themselves. By form of open questions I tried to learn ideas of clients about the future. In the first part of research I tried to understand family background of respondents and socio-economic status of their families. I was also interested in region girls came from. Finally, I was interested in reasons why clients are in Diagnostic Institution. Is it because of drugs or something completely different? In the second part of my research I used technique of interview directly with clients. I tried to analyze and valuate results. Diagnostics of Time Perspective in Grammar School Students

This Bachelor thesis focuses on time perspective in grammar school students and the possibilities of its diagnostics. The text is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. The emphasis is given on the practical part. The theoretical part describes basic psychological findings about a time factor with the emphasis on its regulatory function. Different theories and approaches, that occured throughout history, are presented. The greatest attention is given to the Nuttin's personality- motivational concept of time perspective, Pavelková's theory of the perspective orientation, Zimbardo's time perspective theory and description of the diagnostic methods. The empirical part presents the research that was realized in the period from May to June 2015 in grammar school students of three classes in Prague. The major objective of this study was to map the time perspective of these students and to compare the diagnostic methods. As a main instrument was used the Motivational Induction Method, which finds out information about objects of time perspective and their position in time. The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of future time orientation, simply future plans of economic oriented secondary school pupils. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part was focused on the description of future time orientation of adolescents. Within this part the following methods were used: study of available Czech and foreign literature, analysis, comparison and synthesis. The practical part was focused on the identifying the future plans of pupils at the economic secondary school. The research was oriented to 4 main fields - general future plans, private (family) life, educational and professional career. The research was realized by questionnaire, the obtained data was evaluated by basic statistical methods. In addition, the results were interpreted and subsequently a recommendation for teaching practice was formulated.
School motivation of the Gypsy learners

The aim of the thesis was to analyze and to confirm or to contradict short-term orientation of the Gypsies and through realized research to offer the representation of school motivation of the Gypsy learners. The thesis is divided to four chapters. It contains 2 pictures, 1 map, 2 charts, 30 graphs and 3 supplements. The first chapter contains clarification of theoretical basics of the motivation. In the second chapter the perspective orientation is characterized; its theoretical starting points, characteristics and components. The third chapter deals with Gypsy ethnic-group society and represents the basic view about its history, Gypsy family, education development and about actual level of education. The last chapter, containing research, presents the results of the research and interpretation of obtained indications. This chapter refers clearly a short-term orientation in some issues but also manifestation of perspective orientation of a segment of the respondents in the other issues. It contradicts the hypothesis that Gypsy learners are not interested to study at the University.
